Denver Selects Nine Players in 2024 NFL Draft

Troy Franklin, Bo Nix Among Broncos' Picks

The Denver Broncos made nine selections in the 2024 NFL Draft, including quarterback Bo Nix and wide receiver Troy Franklin.

The Broncos entered the draft with eight picks, but added one more through a trade. They used their first pick, 12th overall, to select Nix, the former Oregon Ducks star. Nix was considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the draft.

With their second pick, 32nd overall, the Broncos selected Franklin, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound wide receiver from the University of Washington. Franklin is known for his exceptional athleticism and route-running ability.

The Broncos also added running back Audric Estime from Indiana with the 102nd overall pick. Estime is a physical runner with good speed and power.

The Broncos' other draft picks include:

  • Gregorian University long snapper Chris Longmuir (191st overall)
  • Central Michigan offensive lineman Luke Goedeke (216th overall)
  • Maryland safety Jaishawn Barham (241st overall)
  • Duke cornerback Jeremiah Lewis (255th overall)
  • Eastern Michigan defensive end Jose Ramirez (264th overall)

The Broncos are hoping that their draft picks can help them improve on a disappointing 2023 season. The team finished with a 5-12 record and missed the playoffs.
